One of the highlights that brings everyone
back
to our festival year after year is the entertainment. That's because
our community has a rich culture and history of regionally recognized
and award winning Greek folk dancing performing groups. The
Grecian
Odyssey Dancers of Ypapanti dance group has been performing
throughout the tri-state area and abroad for over twenty years, but
the showcase performances are always at their home Festival in East
Pittsburgh. Each night, the Grecian Odyssey Dancers perform a vast
repertoire of dances from the islands and mainland of Greece in
authentic regional costumes . Along with the Grecian Odyssey Dancers,
its junior group, The Junior Olympian Dancers also performs
daily at the Festival.
After witnessing the fantastic folk dancing
performances, we invite everyone to join in on the fun and dance to the
fantastic live Greek music of The
Greek Company.
